Mike the joke man first came into the radio business in March of 1987. He was a listener of pirate radio until Johnny Lightning invited Mike down for a radio show. When i first met mike, we were at WJPL, 11L radio. As Mike walked into the studio, takes his jacket off and knocks over a glass of soda! He didn't even say hello to Johnny Lightning yet and already makes a mess on his table! Mike whispered to me.....good impression. Ever since that time with the soda, i have been tormenting mike about the time he spilled the soda. But Mike is an all around good guy.
